Standard Terms & Conditions policies

Payments

We require a 50% deposit to secure your seat. 100% Payment is required in full a week prior to class.

All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The only exception is when you take advantage of our finance option through the Mobicred Payment Plan Option. See more here.

After browsing all the options on this website, please call 0826771010 during working hours to speak with one of our course advisors for more advice on our courses and payment options available.

*Please note we reserve the right to amend course prices or run promotions at any time, without prior notice. Once a booking is made, the price paid is final and no price difference can be refunded in the event of a later course price reduction.

Cancellation or Transfer of Training Dates

Rescheduling Requests & Fees

  • The Lash & Brow institute needs to be notified immediately should you not be able to attend a training course that you have registered for. You may send a substitute student in your place (please inform us of the new name for the certificate)
  • You may transfer your course once at no charge to another course, provided you do so, in writing, at least 10 working days before the course. Transfers inside of 10 days will be charged a late transfer fee of 20%.
  • The Lash & Brow Institute reserves the right to change the date or cancel a course without liability. In the event of a national closure, disaster or strike action we reserve the right to provide alternative dates to all students.
  • Unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be given to students 10 working days prior to class – we do accept postponements in this case.

General

All practical training must be completed within 3 months of completing your course, unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of registration. All students failing to complete the case study requirments now have to attend class and redo case studies in order to achieve International certification. This class will incur a fee lower than the advertised rate if no kit will be required.

Minimum Student Age

We accept all students aged 16 years or over for our face to face training courses, matric is not essential for modular beauty courses. With regret due to insurance reasons, we are unable to accept students aged under 16 years on the day of training for face to face courses. Please note most insurers will only provide public liability (beauty therapist) insurance for working with the general public to those aged 18 or over.

Course Times

Please aim to arrive at the training centre a minimum of 15 minutes early. Courses finish at approximately 4.00pm. For full day courses a short break for lunch is provided during which we recommend students remain within the training centre as a lunch will be served. Please inform your administrator of any dietary requirements. Our meals are halaal and can be vegetarian or vegan upon request.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time for travelling and returning from lunch. Make use of Google maps on smart phone or print map/directions from our website when planning your journey beforehand, to assist you to locate the centre on the training day.

Confirmation of Bookings

Once you have booked a training course you will receive an email within 24 hours to confirm the booking (for bookings made within office hours. Outside of these hours; confirmation will be sent on the next working day)

Late registrations (three working days prior or less) will be charged an administration fee as last minute purchases and amendments to class configuration is costly (overnight couriers)

INTERNATIONAL Certificates

Diploma certificates are issued by email within 2 working days of certifying in your training course(s). Certificates are provided as a digital certificate to meet the needs of insurance providers & reduce our carbon footprint. Students are responsible for ensuring they contact us by email within 30 days of attending their training course, should you fail to receive their certificate for any reason or should there be any error in the certificate received. 

Complaints

We are eager to ensure all students gain the most from their training experience. In the first instance, please raise any difficulties or concerns with the tutor on the training day(s) as most issues can quickly be rectified at the time. However, in the unlikely event your training course with us does not meet your expectations and you feel unable to raise this with the tutor on the training day, please contact us with the details of your feedback or complaint. This email must be received in writing within 5 days of your training course. We take all feedback and complaints very seriously and this will be investigated as required. You will receive a response in writing within 5 working days.
